Mum believes Big Brother Jason is son she gave up for adoption 30 years ago

A STUNNED mum claimed yesterday that Big Brother poser Jason Cowan is her long-lost son.
Jane Astrauskas told relatives she believes the extrovert is the boy she gave up for adoption almost 30 years ago.
She watched amazed as Jason strolled into the house on live TV dressed only in a leopard skin thong the last time she saw him he was just two.
A series of clues about Jason_s life alerted her and she checked the only scrap of information she has about him: his date of birth in Motherwell, November 1, 1973.
This was checked with the official Big Brother records and matched the birthdate they hold for Jason.

Last night the Astrauskas were gathering in their home town of Wishaw, to talk about the astonishing discovery.
Jane_s niece, Jane Morton, 32, said: _I was shocked and crying when I realised Jason was in Big Brother.
_I immediately recognised his name and thought it was too much of a coincidence. Then when the date of birth matched, we thought it must be Jason.
_The family has just lost a cousin who was buried on Thursday. Now it seems God is looking down on us and we have gained a cousin._
Jane, whose grandfather was Lithuanian, was too shocked to speak about her son_s new-found fame.
Her sister Maria Morton, 54, said: _She wants to take a few days to take this all in before deciding if she wants to talk about it._

Musclebound Jason, 30, lost touch with his natural family when he was adopted at the age of two. He suffered further agony when his adoptive father died a year later. He has not spoken to his foster mum, brothers and sisters for 10 years.
Last night, his adoptive step-sister Alice, of Motherwell, said: _My mum does not have any contact with Jason. She doesn_t want to speak about him._
Super-fit Jason boasts that he has bedded 250 women. The MyTravel air steward is desperate to have sex on the programme and showed off the toned physique that won him the Mr Best Buttocks South Lanarkshire _title_ in his outrageous entry into the Big Brother house.
He has also worked as a binman and served with the Royal Navy.
As a teenager he played football for Hamilton Colts FC and dreamed of turning professional but could not make the grade.
He quit his studies at Garrion High School, Motherwell, to get a job
